Our events include weekly activities such as the Reading Is Fun Programme and Praying Parents. We believe that primary school is the starting point of the child's education journey and all deserve a great start. Join us for Ad Hoc activities which are part of the national education program and of course Children's Day which celebrates our young ones.
Hildan Robot Race
The Hildan Robot Race aims to create an opportunity for Hildans to have exposure, experience and engagement in STEAM activities. This PSG programme achieves this by adopting a differentiated and tiered approach to enable students to create a robot using Strawbees and Quirkbot motors with the final objective of winning a Robot Race.
International Friendship Day
International Friendship Day (IFD) is dedicated to the understanding of Singapore's relations with neighbouring countries and beyond. The theme for 2023 was Singapore in Asia. A short write-up on each country was displayed, providing students with information about Singapore's neighbours in Asia. IFD aims to promote a global mindset and foster the spirit of friendship among different countries.
P6 Love Gift
SHPS PSG and SHPS Praying Parents blessed the P6s with a simple love gift to encourage them for their final lap of the primary school journey. Part of the gift includes a heart bookmark crochet made by PSG parents and their children over the June Holidays.
Racial Harmony Day
Racial Harmony Day aims to teach Hildans the importance of maintaining racial and religious harmony in Singapore's multicultural and multi-ethnic society. Traditional games from different racial origins are played during recess.
Teacher's Day
On Teacher's Day, we celebrated our mentors under the theme "You Light Up My Life." The day was filled with joy, as photo booths captured laughter and Notes of Gratitude overflowed, reflecting our deep appreciation for our teachers. Complimentary coffee, snacks, and bunny towels added a cozy touch to the festivities. It was a small gesture for the immense guidance and comfort our educators provide daily. This day was a simple 'thank you' to the extraordinary individuals who inspire and shape our futures.
Children's Day
Our Children's Day celebration bloomed brilliantly under the theme "Bloom with Gratitude," where joy and thankfulness were the day's harvest. The school buzzed with excitement as children engaged in a medley of games, each fostering the spirit of teamwork and fun. Music, arts, and spirited sports activities not only entertained but also instilled values of sportsmanship and unity.
